Why microfinance?

I am a man on a mission to “meaningfully” give back to the world.

In my research, I have come to the conclusion that Microfinance represents the perfect vehicle for my endeavour.

Although there is some debate on the efficacy of Microfinance as a means of alleviating global poverty (see, for example Nathanael Goldberg’s excellent treatise on the subject), Microfinance has the potential to reach tens if not hundreds of millions of financially underserved people.

I want to be a part of this movement, and it would be an honour one day to be recognized as someone who made a small contribution to its advancement.
