Purpose

Microfinancenow.org is all about sharing with my visitors the trials and tribulations of my journey into the world of Microfinance – my mission to “meaningfully” give back.

My reasons for doing so are twofold.

First, I am hoping to draw more attention to the plight of poverty in the world and how Microfinance can help. If one person becomes interested in the subject matter due to my musings, I will consider this site a success. As a result, it is my intention to keep the content uncluttered and basic.

My second goal is selfish. For me to be successful in my quest, I will need help – plenty of it. This website is my way of reaching out. As I document my journey and describe the challenges I encounter, I am hoping to attract the advices of people with exposure to and experience in Microfinance and Microcredit.
